1 Plastic Bags—PDG Tony Montes recycling 5 - 10 lb plastic bags = 50 bags for our club's ongoing environmental project to collect 1000 lbs in exchange for a park bench.
2 Health Fair - Vision Screening - Several members of the Miami Buena Vista-Biltmore Lions Club as well as various members of other District 35-N clubs, participated in helping the Marc Jaiden Project with the vision screening of hundreds of people at the Miami Dade Campus in Hialeah during the Health Fair held last August 8th, 2024.
Our remarkable team has begun our third year of feeding children at Lighthouse for the Blind who are blind or visually impaired and food insecure through our signature project. We packed eight weeks of weekend meals, totaling 45 bags of food per child, amounting to 2880 items. These include two breakfasts, two lunches, two dinners, and two snacks.
We partnered with Publix, providing items for their senior program.

We establish long term relations with schools and academic institutions to conduct eye health screening and many other school related activities.
Health Fairs are at the center of our community support. We partner with hospitals and clinics to serve the health care needs of our community.
Our Lions clubs serve our community 365 days a year with a strong commitment to the well being and prosperity of our neighbors and their families.
